About Us
Training Institute for Technical Instruction (TITI) traces its beginning from ‘Technical Instructors Training Institute’ established as a Nepali national institute in 1991, with the assistance of the Swiss Government, Swiss Agency for Development & Cooperation (SDC) through Swisscontact, the Swiss Foundation for Technical Cooperation.
Training Institute for Technical Instruction (TITI) is located in Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, Nepal. It was established as a Nepali National Institute in November 1991 with some operational flexibility (TITI By-law, 2001) and mandated by the Act of CTEVT (CTEVT Act, 1988, Section 16). TITI is devoted to meeting the nationwide training needs of technical human resources, managers and curriculum developers in the Technical Education and Vocational Training (TEVT) sector.
The Institute’s objectives are to:
Provide trainers, managers, curricula development experts, and other workforce needed in the field of TVET.
Conduct research, provide consultancy services and develop creative models in the field of TVET.
Develop instructional materials, curricula, textbooks, and model training materials.
Provide the consulting services needed for promote the quality standards of TVET.
